Peggy Lea Publishing was established 1995 with BMI mostly serving her own catalogue. After Peggy was signed to a small record label in Nashville in 1996 she decided to start venturing further into the publishing aspect. The first outside writer was in 1997, Tom Danz, a signed artist to Olympia records of Chicago and a new dimension began. In 2001 Peggy gained international distribution and recognition with her debut album Stories Untold re-spun thru Splat record label and Peggy Lea Publishing. After a brief sabbatical Peggy is back into the industry with a fury expanding and signing numerous high calibre single and multi song contracts with writers ranging from former major label artists to Nashville songwriters, to European Production Co. song catalogues. Genres are in categories ranging from Euro-pop, R&B to Nashville country, acoustic rock, celtic-folk and smooth jazz. It has been a lot of hard work and sheer joy to develop and grow with the strength of these great songs. When Peggy and her small team are not pitching songs and securing cuts in an international arena they are writing and producing new songs as well as exploring artist development and record production.
